Melanie and Linda came to visit the first weekend in April and it was so great to have them here. We had a way too short weekend that started with Sushi and getting my car towed. But then a great dinner at The Crab Trap. On Saturday we went for a hike on Little Talbot Island. We found a ton of sand dollars and lots of other sea life including starfish, crabs and urchins. However, a major storm literally ran us off the beach. It was a bit scary. We finished off Saturday with a game of dominoes and a few rounds of Wii boxing. Linda was the champion boxer, to say the least. She kept defeating Josh in big way! Linda left on Sunday but Melanie hung around until Monday, so we took her to downtown Fernandina and she met the famous downtown pirate. All in all, a great weekend with some great ladies!!
